Eric Baumgardner

Eric Baumgardner serves as the Vice President of CorporateDevelopment at Western & Southern Financial Group, where he leads mergers,acquisitions, and strategic venture capital investments. With over 135 years ofexperience, Western & Southern is committed to providing financialstability to individuals, families, businesses, foundations, and nonprofitsthrough a diverse range of insurance, investment, and retirement solutions. Thecompany is currently ranked #284 on the Fortune 500, placing it among sevenprominent Cincinnati-area businesses.

Eric joined Western & Southern in 2021, bringing with him 25 years of experience at Procter & Gamble. During his tenure at P&G, he held various senior leadership roles, including Commercial Finance Director for North America Baby Care, Senior Director of Corporate Finance, andSenior Director of Global Business Development.

In addition to his corporate role, Eric is a visiting professor at the Williams College of Business at Xavier University, where he as taught graduate and undergraduate courses in economics, managerial finance, and pricing since 1998. As Executive Director of the Center for Pricing Excellence, he has provided strategic guidance on pricing to several local companies. Eric is also active in the community, serving on the boards of Cintrifuse, Vault Fund, and Xavier University’s Executive MBA and Economics programs.

Eric holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati (1996) and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Xavier University (1995). He resides in Milford, OH with his wife, Laura, and their three children.
